Education

On June 1st, 2008, the City of Saraland took over control of their schools from the City of Mobile. Saraland City Schools are home to over 1,744 students. Our system is dedicated to excellence in academics, athletics and extracurricular activities. We have dedicated faculty, staff and administrators to help our students excel.

In January 2010 a new state-of- the art high school was completed with over 158,000 square feet. In March of 2010 located next to Saraland High School a Performing Arts Center was completed and soon was home to several musicals performed by University of Mobile students.

A baseball/softball complex was completed in 2011 and a beautiful football stadium will be ready for 2011 football season. As you can see we are committed to making sure our students have everything needed to succeed both academically and socially.

Saraland has everything you need within its city limits, industry for jobs, restaurants, retail, upscale boutiques and an outstanding school system. We invite you to “Step-Up” to Saraland.
